Mother Mary is a project that has been in the works for some time as an homage to my late grandmother. Her home was a 1920s vernacular bungalow in a historic district in Providence, RI, and it was a place where I got to create many childhood core memories. One of her dreams was to remodel her home. She didn’t get that opportunity before she passed, so I created Mother Mary, sourcing carefully curated interior decor pieces with character and soul, just like her. A project that I get to do with my mom as an ode to the generations of women in my family with creative, soulful, and grounding spirits.
